Ordering

Can I change/edit/cancel my order?

We understand that mistakes can happen and a customer may change their mind last minute. 

 

We try our best to accommodate this. If you want to make an adjustment, please email us at hello@mitrathelabel.com within 12 hours of ordering and we will try to rectify the issue.

I’m looking to buy a reversible swimsuit, can I receive it without labels?

All reversible swimwear comes with brand and care labels, which contains key information relating to the size and care instructions for the garment. Once you have tried the item on and are happy that the fit works for you, you can gently remove the label with a pair of scissors.

I placed an order but have not received confirmation?

All orders will have a confirmation email or SMS text message sent within 15 minutes of ordering.

 

If you completed check-out with your mobile number please check your mobile’s inbox.

 

If you have completed check-out with your email please check your email address, including spam folders.

 

If you still find you are unable to find your order confirmation, please do get in touch. Please email us at hello@mitrathelabel.com.

Do you offer price adjustments? 

We are unable to offer price adjustments and cannot apply discount codes to orders after they have been placed.

When will I receive my gift card? Is an actual gift card sent out?

You should receive your gift card within 24 hours of placing your order. We do not send out physical gift cards, we provide digital online gift certificates. 

 

If 24 hours have passed and you haven’t received your gift card, please contact us at hello@mitrathelabel.com

How long do gift cards last for?

There is no expiry date on our gift cards, as we don’t want you to buy something for sake of having to buy something. Save the gift card for when you will need it the most.

If you lose the gift card code, we can resend out the code, providing you can send us details of the order.

How quickly is my order dispatched?

All orders take up to 14 business days to be processed and fulfilled. Once sent out for delivery. Due to location shipping times and rates will vary.

Sizing and fit

How does your sizing system work?

Our swimwear does not follow the typical sizing you’d find on the high-street, so please make sure you check our sizing chart and fit notes for each style carefully.

As every order is handmade from scratch to your order requests it is vital that you double check you are ordering the correct size and check our sizing guide or email us with your measurements before purchasing and we will be more than happy to recommend the best sizing for you.

I’m looking to buy swimwear, but I need help with sizing.

We offer a detailed Fit Guide to help direct you to the right size in your Mitra The Label swimwear. If you need any further assistance, please contact us through our customer contact page or email us at hello@mitrathelabel.com with the subject "SIZING HELP".

I am in between sizes, which one should I go for?

Each product will has fit notes to help you determine your size. Please be aware that some style will have a slightly different size guide, so it is also best to double check the size guide on the product page, as well as the fit notes.

I'm short/long in the body, how does that affect my sizing?

No matter your height, for swimsuits, you will need to write down your shoulder to gusset measurement when ordering.

For bikinis, this won't affect your sizing at all - simply order as usual, based on the size guide and fit notes.

Trying items on

Is there anywhere I can try on Mitra The Label?

Our online store is the only place in the world to buy original Mitra The Label. We occasionally host pop-up shops around the UK. In order to know when and where you can stay up to date through our email subscription and social media pages.

Should I keep my underwear on when trying my swimwear on for the first time?

Yes please. While we use decomposable hygiene stickers, we ask you keep your underwear on when trying on your swimwear while trying it on the first time.

My swimsuit made creaking noises when I tried it on, is this normal?

You may hear the stay stitches pulling when you pop your swimwear on for the first time. Don't panic! This isn't the suit ripping and is completely normal.

Shipping policy & rates

The delivery times stated below are from the date of despatchNOT from your order date and are on the precaution there are no delays with Royal Mail or any other couriers we use. Mitra The Label does not accept responsibility for any delays.

To know the timeframe of when your order is estimated to be despatched from please check the product page before placing an order or email us with your order number and we can update you on the progress of your order.

If you need your order by a specific date, please contact us to see whether the date can be achieved. Once you have a confirmation from us, please use the ‘Order Specific Instructions’ box on the cart page to write when you’ll need the order by and select Priority & Rush Order at checkout. If you forget to put to the date in the 'Order Specific Instructions' box, please get in contact with us ASAP.

When will my order be fulfilled?

All orders take up to 14 business days to be processed and fulfilled. Once sent out for delivery. Due to location shipping times and rates will vary.

We ship worldwide.

If I am located in the UK, when will my order arrive?

Once your order has been fulfilled which can take up to 14 working days, delivery can be expected to take up to 4 business days.

If I am located internationally, how much will shipping cost?

We ship all international packages via Royal Mail which is then delivered to you through your local carrier. The shipping cost can vary depending on your location. Once you have entered in your location through our checkout page, the shipping fee will be displayed prior to finalising your order. Due to your location, shipping fees will vary.

How do I track my order?

Once your package has been dispatched, you will be sent your tracking details via the email you ordered with.

My package says “delivered” but I haven’t received it, can you assist?

We provide complete tracking information which will show your order as delivered directly to your location.

Since the package was indicated that it was delivered, there are a few steps we suggest taking! Occasionally, packages are marked as delivered before they are physically at your address Please allow 24 hours following a delivery confirmation before assuming that there is an issue with the delivery.

1. Contact your local post carrier and try to speak to your postal person directly, as they may have a recollection of when and where they leave packages.

2. Make sure your mail area is secure, and leave a note to request that packages not be left unattended.

3. Is there a chance one of your neighbours has mistakenly collected your package?

If you have completed all of the above, and If you are unable to locate the parcel, please contact Royal Mail directly to file a complaint. You can contact them by phoning the following number 0345 774 0740 or filling out a claims form here.

If you have any issues on the above please get in touch however we will not accept responsibility for lost or stolen packages if delivery has been confirmed through the order tracking number.

Please note: We cannot be held responsible for orders that go missing after obtaining a “Delivered” status. Please ensure that you provide a shipping address that is attended during the day if your mail area is not secure.

My order has not arrived

In the first instance please check the tracking number provided to you via email/SMS.

Our shipping time frames can be found above. Please note they are a guideline only and therefore Mitra The Label cannot be held responsible for shipping delays on behalf of Royal Mail and other couriers we use.

If you feel your parcel has taken too long you can get in touch with the delivery provider directly to raise your concern.

Taxes & duties

Who pays for customs & import duties?

Ordering outside of the UK may give rise to customs and import duties. As a result of Brexit this now includes the EU.

 

It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure the correct taxes and customs charges are paid according to their own countries legislation.

Failure to pay these fees may result in the package being returned to Mitra The Label. If this is the case there will be a processing fee deducted from your refund of £5 in addition to the shipping costs incurred to send the package to you and the shipping costs to be return to Mitra The Label.

If you're still unsure on whether you'll be subject to customs fees, we'd recommend contacting your local customs office for more information before placing your order.

Will I have to pay taxes/duties in my home country?

All international packages may be subject to taxes and duties.

 

Please note: If you used a discount on your order, your customs office assesses taxes based on the original retail price.

 

Mitra The Label is not held responsible nor can refund/reimburse for any taxes or duties charged by the customer’s local government. Any fees of this nature are the sole responsibility of the purchaser.

 

We are unable to offer a refund for taxes/duties.

Can I calculate taxes/duties before ordering/delivery? 

We do not currently have the ability to estimate taxes prior to delivery.

Returns policy

Do you accept returns?

Due to the nature of our products being handmade to order, we do not offer refunds.

If however, you have ordered the wrong size or the items do not fit, a free adjustment/exchange service is available. We have a 10-day return policy, which means you have 10 days after receiving your item to request a return. For more details on how to return your item please see our Return policy.

I want to exchange my order. Can you send me the replacement style today as I'm going on holiday next week?

With production time taking up to 14 working days, this may not always be suitable, however please still get in contact at hello@mitrathelabel.com to see if an exchange for your holiday is possible or have a look at our ready made items.

What do I do think an item is faulty?

Firstly, we're sorry to hear that. We never want you to receive a less than perfect item (even from our misfits collection), but these things can happen from time to time. If you receive an item that you believe is faulty, please contact us at hello@mitrathelabel.com and let us know what you think is wrong. We'll liaise with you to either repair or replace the item.

Sustainability

Where are your swimsuits made?

All our swimwear are handmade and manufactured in Bristol, UK.

What are your swimsuits made from?

All our swimwear is made of a super soft, high quality Italian Lycra® made from a regenerated yarn called ECONYL®. ECONYL® is made from regenerated post-consumer waste such as spent fishing nets and industrial plastic scraps. We select fabrics which offer durability, structure and support - as well as feeling comfortable on. So when you buy a swimsuit from us, not only do you feel great but the oceans are getting cleaned up, too!
