Welcome, we are Mitra The Label, a sustainable swimwear brand, with swimsuits designed and handmade in the UK. Our aim over the next few months is to change the fashion industry and change people’s mind to start buying more sustainably, without compromising style or damaging our planet.
What's our overall goal?
Our current major goal is to able to take back your used and love Mitra The Label pieces and regenerate them back into ECONYL® yarn and turn them into new pieces. This is something, we are discussing with our suppliers and are currently developing. Hopefully, it will become a reality soon but we will be sure to let you know when this happens.
As of the beginning of 2020, our swimwear collection is made from regenerated ocean plastics. After many hours of research, we have also found a supplier based in the UK that makes recycled packaging. This packaging is biodegradable which you can compost at home.
Here at Mitra The Label, we want to be so much more than just swimwear. We want to create a community that celebrates sustainability, highlighting brands who care and enable all of us to make the best choices.

After many months of hard work, we are so excited to finally reveal Mitra The Label. We will be taking swimwear into a new direction, focusing on flattering cuts and high quality.
The Summer 2020 collection is unapologetically sexy, as we design with a women’s body in mind, strives to emphasise her curves in each suit, making the woman wearing Mitra swimwear feel like her most confident and beautiful self. At Mitra The Label, we believe every woman has a bikini body and we want you to love your body, as our different sizes and shapes are what makes us unique and we should embrace this.
When designing the collection, we wanted seamless construction as this allows for the fabric to sit on the wearer’s skin without any pinching, enables more freedom of body movement and improves comfort. Our first collection has been designed to make them the perfect wardrobe staple and reinforces the swimsuits versatility.
Mitra The Label has designed our swimwear for the women who care about a swimsuit’s quality, it’s versatility and how it will never go out of style.
